Our Mission

Our Mission is to promote friendship, unity, harmony and to develop spirit of sportsmanship among all children and youth of our Christian Community through our four ministries: Passion Play of Christ, Bible Spelling Bee Championship, Basketball Tournaments and Tithing and Financial Conferences.

Our primary goal is to motivate and increase physical activities and reduce obesity and prevent juvenile diabetes among the children and youth of our Community.

The purpose of conducting children and youth Basketball Tournament is to translate discipline, competitiveness and Inter-personal skills into their classroom settings and success.

Purpose

The purpose of Indo-American Christian Children of Chicago is to teach our youth the organizational and budgetary skills to develop and implement successful Basketball tournaments by themselves.

To develop National Team to play Inter-City and Inter-State Basketball Tournaments.

Train them in fund raising activities to meet and support their Basketball Tournament Expenses.

STATISTICS OF BASKETBALL PLAYERS PARTICIPATION FROM 2001 -2013

The graph shows gradual increase of players participation in Basketball Tournament since starting from year 2001 to 2013. Basketball Player age ranges from 13 years to 26 years old coming from different Suburbs and Churches of City of Chicago and State of Illinois. The Basketball Teams participate from High Schools, Colleges and Universities of State of Illinois. Indo-American Christian Children and Youth Basketball Tournament of Chicago has achieved many of the performance objectives of building friendships, inter-personal communication skills and fostering strong bonds of brotherhood and spirit of sportsmanship.
